Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics has launched a new lip product called Lip Tar: Stained Gloss ($18). The brand says the product combines the pigment potency of its Lip Tar with a casual glossy finish. The gloss, which is available in six intense shades, can be worn alone or layered over existing shades. Voyeur, an intense yet transparent yellow, can be used to neutralize other vibrant shades.

According to David Klasfeld, CEO and creative director, the new product was created in response to customer requests. “OCC fans have been asking to see a new take on Lip Tar that remains true to our high opacity heritage, while providing a more transparent look,” he says. “We took our inspiration from art objects like stained glass windows and lighting gels. Transparent yet concentrated color that no one would dare call sheer.”
